Qur'ān
—
and remember Allah much: that you may be successful.
[62:10]
—
and the men and the women who remember Allah much with their hearts and tongues [1] Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise).
[33:35]
—
Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.
[13:28]
—
O you who believe! Remember Allah with much remembrance.
And glorify His Praises morning and afternoon [the early morning (Fajr) and ‘Asr prayers].
Al-Ahzab
He it is Who sends Salat (His blessings) on you, and His angels too (ask Allah to bless and forgive you), that He may bring you out from darkness (of disbelief and polytheism) into light (of Belief and Islamic Monotheism). And He is Ever Most Merciful to the believers.
[33:41-43]
—
So when you have accomplished your Manasik[1], remember Allah as you remember your forefathers or with a far more remembrance.
[2:200]
—
Therefore remember Me (by praying, glorifying), I will remember you, and be grateful to Me (for My countless Favours on you) and never be ungrateful to Me.
[2:152]
—
And remember your Lord within yourself, humbly and with fear and without loudness in words in the mornings, and in the afternoons and be not of those who are neglectful.
[7:205]
Hadith:
Abu Darda reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Shall I not tell you of the best of your deeds, which is the purest to your King, which raises you among your ranks, which is better for you than spending gold and money in charity, and which is better for you than meeting your enemy and striking the necks of each other?” They said, “Of course!” The Prophet said, “It is the remembrance of Allah Almighty.”
[Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3377|Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani]
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allahﷺ said: “The Mufarridoon have gone ahead.” He was asked, “Who are the Mufarridoon?” He ﷺ replied, “Those men and women who remember Allaah much.“
[Sahih Muslim]
So among the believers who remember Allaah much have taken lead and no one can surpass them except those who perform their actions and more.
—
Abu Musa reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The parable of one who remembers his Lord and one who does not remember is that of the living and the dead.”
Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6407, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 779
—
Allah the Almighty said: I am as My servant thinks I am. I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assembly better than it...
